Trash your Trash

As part of the 7 principles we talk about "pack it out" when referring to all types of waste in the wild.  This does include trash (even though human waste is specifically highlighted). 

Is it really that simple?  We bring things in and are to take most everything back out.  But what do you do with your trash once you get back?  It would be simple enough to just throw your trash in the trashcan but shouldn't we separate our trash before we throw our items away. 

Trash Your Trash

Recycling and taking care of your trash even at home is as important if not more important than when your out in the wild.  Taking care of our environment is important no matter where we are located.  No matter where you are Trash your Trash in appropriate ways and recycle everything you can.  Trash effects all parts of our environment.
